Join Nick Manson & his friends as they pay tribute to the great Hank Mobley, who was described as the “middleweight champion of the tenor saxophone” by esteemed jazz critic Leonard Feather. Mobley’s lengthy career, which included stints with Max Roach, Art Blakey and Miles Davis, as well as leading his own groups. This is sure to be an eclectic and engaging performance of this often overlooked jazz legend’s music.
